The FEI Endurance World Championship 2026 at Butheeb is held under the patronage and support of the leadership of the United Arab Emirates, and organised by the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation with the Fédération Équestre Internationale.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed all the participants in the World Endurance Championship hosted by the UAE at Butheeb International Endurance Village in Al Khatim, Abu Dhabi, a championship that gathers the elite riders of the world for the title of the largest event organised in this sport.
"Hosting the World Endurance Championship represents a distinguished addition to the list of international events and championships, and the major activities and events held in the UAE and Abu Dhabi, which attract elite athletes in various sports and the most famous international teams."
His Highness added that the support provided by the wise leadership to sport in general, and to endurance riding in particular, has pushed it to the highest ranks, giving it leadership in competition, in the hosting of major championships and in achievement; and that the confidence of the Fédération Équestre Internationale in Butheeb International Endurance Village confirms the high position the country enjoys in this sport, its reputation in organising major championships and the distinguished successes it records in every field, including sport, with high professionalism.

The UAE hosts the World Endurance Championship at Butheeb International Village confident of presenting a unique championship after a long journey of hard work, providing the best organisational atmosphere for the largest international and competitive championship, to delight the elite riders taking part and the followers who love this noble sport. Working at the highest levels of excellence in the championships the UAE hosts is a well-established Emirati approach.
Within the vision of its wise leadership, the UAE has established its prestigious position and global leadership in organising and hosting international sporting events with the best standards and practices, with modern infrastructure in line with international standards. The championship has received the attention of the wise leadership and the follow-up and support of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to present a championship that will resonate with the family of endurance around the world and remain in the memory of the participants in all its details. The Village of Butheeb has fulfilled all its technical and logistical obligations, and it welcomes the participants and guests with the generosity and authenticity of the people of the Emirates.
We have great confidence that the FEI, in granting the UAE the hosting of the championship at Butheeb International Village, acted from complete conviction of the UAE's ability to organise a distinguished championship for the global event in Abu Dhabi, the home of world championships, at the highest level and in the best image; it is a trust well placed, because Butheeb will provide more than the criteria for hosting require. On behalf of the Fédération Équestre Internationale, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Butheeb in Al Khatim, Abu Dhabi, for the FEI Endurance World Championship, bringing together the crème de la crème of the discipline.
FEI Endurance is a sport which, at its very essence, is based on excellent horsemanship and incredible stamina to physically and mentally sustain the focus required to perform at the highest level. It is also a sport reliant on trust between partnerships and teams, thorough planning, and a very committed entourage. There is no "I" in Endurance; you need to know your partner, know your limits and ensure that together you deliver your very best. This combined team effort is what makes FEI Endurance so fascinating to watch.
Strong, energetic, powerful! The intensity and agility of the championship you will witness here in Butheeb will be perfectly contrasted by the stunning desert location amongst the spectacular dunes and landscapes. Championships such as these are truly essential for the development of our sport; they promote, educate and entertain a growing, enthusiastic audience eager for FEI Endurance action. As we come together to marvel and celebrate FEI Endurance, I would like to thank the organisers, the UAE National Federation and the sponsors for their continuous support, and all officials, volunteers and the media for providing the perfect platform to highlight this historic, astonishing discipline.
